Finch & Budgie Crumbles

Vetafarm Finch & Budgie Crumbles is a veterinarian-formulated, completely balanced extruded diet designed for the specific nutritional needs of pet and breeding finches, budgerigars, and canaries. Developed by avian veterinarians, these crumbles serve as a complete diet that promotes healthy growth, brain function, and optimum feather development. The formula is extrusion cooked, a process that unlocks natural flavours and improves digestibility while ensuring food safety by eliminating potential pathogens. It contains no artificial colours or by-products and is fortified with extra protein and calcium to support the high nutritional demands of breeding and raising healthy chicks.

Ingredients:
Whole grains (maize, wheat, soybean), soy protein isolate, vegetable oils, and natural organic acids. Amino Acids: Lysine and methionine. Flavoring: Blueberry extract. Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, H (Biotin), and K. Minerals: Calcium, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur, and zinc.

Directions:
Daily Intake (Minimum): Finch (e.g., Zebra/Gouldian, 15g): 2g of crumbles per day. Budgerigar (40g): 4g of crumbles per day.

Conversion from Seed: To improve acceptance, moisten the crumbles with warm water and mix with dry seed at a 50:50 ratio for a few days, gradually reducing the seed proportion to 25% and then to a sprinkle.

Fresh, clean water must be freely available at all times, as birds on extruded diets often consume more water than those on seed. Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. For use in ornamental birds only; not for use in birds intended for human consumption.
