Rabbit Origins

Vetafarm Rabbit Origins is a veterinarian-formulated, complete extruded pellet diet designed to meet the specific nutritional requirements of pet and breeding rabbits. Formulated by vets, these pellets are high in fibre and use an extrusion cooking process to ensure maximum digestibility, dental health, and food safety. According to Vetafarm, the inclusion of fresh Australian fescue hay, lucerne, and oat fibre supports normal gut function, while natural chicory root acts as a prebiotic to encourage beneficial gut flora and immune health. The diet is balanced with a specific calcium-to-phosphorus ratio to help prevent long-term musculoskeletal issues such as Metabolic Bone Disease.         

Ingredients:
Fescue grass hay, lucerne hay, oat fibre, and whole grains (wheat, soybean, and oats). Nutritional Additives: Natural chicory root (inulin). Vitamin A (8000 IU/kg min), B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3 (3500 IU/kg min), E (150 IU/kg min), H, and K. Calcium (0.75–1.0%), phosphorus (0.4% min), cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur, and zinc. 

Directions:
The recommended diet consists of 20% Rabbit Origins pellets, 75% high-fibre hay (such as fescue or oaten hay), and 5% fresh greens/treats.
Daily Feeding Guide:
500g – 1.5kg Rabbit: 1/8 cup.
1.5kg – 3.5kg Rabbit: 1/3 cup.
3.5kg – 4.5kg Rabbit: 1/2 cup.
4.5kg + Rabbit: 3/4 cup.

Special Needs: Young, pregnant, or nursing rabbits may be given free access (unlimited) to the pellets to meet higher nutritional demands.

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C and away from direct sunlight. Intended for ornamental rabbits only; not for use in animals producing meat or eggs for human consumption.
