Lorikeet Nectar Pellets

Developed by avian veterinarians, Nectar Pellets provide a completely balanced, low-sugar diet that replicates the natural nutrition of wild lorikeets in an easy-to-feed dry form. A key feature is the inclusion of natural psyllium husk, which improves digestive health and produces firmer, more consistent droppings, effectively stopping the "squirting" mess often caused by liquid diets. The pellets are extrusion-cooked to unlock natural flavours and ensure high digestibility        

Ingredients:
Made from fresh Australian ingredients without artificial colours, the pellets contain a blend of whole grains (maize, wheat, soybean), soy protein, vegetable oils, and natural psyllium husk for digestive health. They are fortified with essential vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, H, K) and minerals (Calcium, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur, zinc). A touch of apple flavour is added for palatability.   

Directions:
Daily Intake: Feed 10–15% of the bird's body weight daily (e.g., a 120g bird needs 10g of pellets).
Dietary Balance: The recommended 80/15/5 diet consists of 80% Nectar Pellets, 15% fresh fruits/veg, and 5% treats.

Always provide fresh water. Store in a dry area below 30°C; shelf life is approximately 2 years. For ornamental birds only.
