Macaw Nuts

Vetafarm Macaw Nuts are a premium, veterinarian-formulated extruded diet specifically designed for large South American parrots that require higher levels of fat and protein. Vetafarm Macaw Nuts are large-sized (approx. 12mm–20mm) pellets developed by avian veterinarians to replicate the natural, high-energy diet of exotic parrots. These pellets are extrusion cooked at high temperatures to ensure maximum food safety and digestibility, helping birds absorb vital nutrients more efficiently

Ingredients:
Grains and Nuts: Whole Australian wheat, corn, soybean, peanuts, and almonds. Added Nutrients: Potato starch, chicory root extract (prebiotic), vegetable oils, and natural organic acids. Essential Vitamins: A (6000 IU/kg min), B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3 (2000 IU/kg min), E (150 mg/kg min), H, and K. Minerals: Calcium (0.8–1.0%), phosphorus (0.4%), cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur, and zinc.

Directions:
Feeding Rate: As a general guide, parrots consume approximately 10% of their body weight in dry feed per day. The remaining 20% of the intake should consist of
15% Fresh fruits and vegetables for behavioural enrichment and 5% Hand-selected whole nuts.

Serve in a clean, dry dish and ensure fresh drinking water is always available. Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C.
