Multivet

Vetafarm Multivet with Moulting Aid is a comprehensive liquid supplement providing essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids specifically designed to support birds and small animals on seed-based diets.  Formulated by avian veterinarians, Multivet acts as a year-round dietary supplement to maintain general health and aid in disease prevention associated with nutritional deficiencies. It is particularly beneficial during the moulting season, as its amino acid profile supports the healthy development of new feathers and relieves the nutritional strain on the body. The inclusion of proteinated (chelated) minerals ensures superior absorption in the gut compared to standard mineral salts.

Ingredients:
Vitamins: A (94,000 IU), D3 (8,500 IU), E (32.6 IU), Thiamine (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Nicotinamide (B3), Pantothenic Acid (B5), and Pyridoxine (B6), Minerals (as Proteinates): Zinc (8,600 mg), Manganese (5,700 mg), Copper (1,400 mg), Cobalt (75 mg), and Iodine (25 mg). Amino Acids: Lysine HCl (48.5 g), Methionine (10 g), L-Glutamine (10 g), and Choline Chloride (3.6 mg)."   

Directions:
Water Administration: Mix 0.5 mL of Multivet with 150 mL of clean drinking water.
Food Administration: For soft or wet feeds, add 5 mL per 1 kg of food.
Frequency: Supply for 3–5 days each week during normal periods, and daily during the moult.
Age-Specific Use: Best used daily in young birds until their first moult, then every second day as an ongoing maintenance supplement.

While Multivet covers most nutritional needs, it does not provide sufficient calcium; it is recommended to also provide a source like Vetafarm Calcivet, especially for breeding birds. Store below 30°C (room temperature) and protect from direct light. Not registered for use in animals intended for human consumption (meat or eggs).
