Neocare

Vetafarm Neocare provides a complete nutritional start for all parrot species, as well as finches, canaries, and pigeons. It replicates a form of "crop milk" essential for incubated or nest-pulled babies. According to Vetafarm, the formula includes prebiotics, probiotics, and digestive enzymes to establish strong immune and digestive functions from day one.       

Ingredients:
Whole Grains: Corn, wheat, and soybean. Proteins & Fats: Soy protein isolate, wheat gluten, and vegetable oils. Digestive Aids: Psyllium husk, lecithin, chicory root extract (prebiotic), and a blend of probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis, etc.). Enzymes: Protease, amylase, cellulase, hemicellulase, lipase, papain, and bromelain.
Vitamins & Minerals: Fortified with Vitamins A, B-complex, C, D3, E, H, K, plus calcium, phosphorus, iron, and zinc.

Directions:
Neonate/Transition (Hatchlings to 5 Days):
Mix 2 small level scoops of Neocare with 1 large scoop and 1 small scoop of boiling water.
The mix should be very runny (like ""gritty milk"") and gradually thickened over 48 hours.
Regular Feeding (Over 5 Days Old):
Mix 1 large level scoop of Neocare with 1 large scoop of boiling water until it forms a thick paste. Add 3 small scoops of cool water and mix for 2 minutes until smooth.
Feeding Temperature: Ensure the formula is between 38–41°C before feeding to avoid crop burns or indigestion.
Frequency: The crop must be allowed to empty completely once every 24 hours (usually before the first morning feed)

Always mix a fresh batch for every feed. Never reuse, reheat, or refrigerate leftover formula due to bacterial risk. No Microwaving: Do not use a microwave to heat the formula, as it creates ""hot spots"" that can cause fatal crop burns. Not for use in birds intended for human consumption (meat or eggs).
