Paradise Pellets

Vetafarm Paradise Pellets are a veterinarian-formulated, low-iron diet specifically designed for fruit-eating (frugivorous) birds such as Eclectus parrots, toucans, and birds of paradise. Paradise Pellets provide a completely balanced, extruded diet that replicates the natural fruit-based diet of tropical frugivores. These species are highly sensitive to excessive fats and iron; therefore, this formula is low-iron (max 60mg/kg) and rich in Vitamin A and Vitamin C to support vibrant plumage and overall health. The extrusion process improves digestibility and ensures food safety, while the fruit-flavoured pellets help reduce the mess and waste associated with feeding fresh fruit alone.

Ingredients:
The diet features a mix of Australian-grown grains (corn, wheat, soy) and various fruits (apple, peach, pear, berry blend), fortified with essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. 

Directions:
Designed as a staple, it is recommended to feed as 50% of the total daily diet, with the remaining 50% consisting of fresh fruit, vegetables, and limited treats. 
Daily Intake: Approx. 35g for an Eclectus parrot, or 8g per 100g of body weight for other species.

Offer in a clean, dry bowl with fresh water always available. Low-iron formulation helps manage iron storage diseases, so avoid high-iron foods.

Store below 30°C and use within 30 days of opening.
