Poly Aid Plus was formulated by avian veterinarians for use on sick, injured, or stressed birds and small animals that are not eating voluntarily. It is a welcome addition to a birdkeeper’s first aid kit. Poly Aid Plus contains sustained release carbohydrates (for ongoing energy), essential proteins, probiotics (to restore gut flora), vitamins and electrolytes (to assist in recovery from illness and stress).
Directions:
Add 5mL of water to 10g of Poly Aid Plus and make into a slurry. Can be administered directly via medication needle or added to food sources for animals eating voluntarily but requiring additional dietary support to make a stronger recovery. Make up fresh for each use, discard any unused portion.
Ingredients:
Hydrolysed Maize Starch (7.5g) and Albumen (2g).Probiotic® (0.1g): Contains 180 Million CFU/g, L. acidophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. plantarum, L. rhamnosus, B. bifidum, E. faecium, and S. thermophilus. Calcium Gluconate (58mg), Magnesium Sulphate (45mg), Potassium Chloride (76.8mg), and Sodium Chloride (110.2mg). Vitamin A (200 IU), Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, Vitamin C (10mg), Vitamin D3 (25 IU), Vitamin E (0.5mg), Vitamin H, and Vitamin K. Choline Bitartrate (8mg).
